Twilgiht Gala Dress Stencil by SCARFI5H Twilgiht Gala Dress Stencil by SCARFI5H
I personally think that Twilight's dress was the best out of all six.

This is pretty much my first attempt at more that one layer. Its really a pain in the ass when I can't see where I'm spraying on. Im going to try to get my hooves on this clear paper thats thick

I enjoy the stars also but I kind of regret putting them on the legs.

On your design you can place line up marks in the same place on multiple sheets. Cover the painting surface under the marks with tape. Spray through the marks after each layer to help you line them up.

so lay down tape over the surface, then practice spraying on like masking tape first to work on accuracy before I actually spray on the stars?

Let me know where you put them when you do. Thanks for helping me out with this.

Alright here is how these contact marks work.

Prep your stencils in a photo editing program and add 3 marks in spots that wont conflict with the image.
Print all your stencils out with these marks like so:

On each layer, cut out the contact marks and the section you want to spray.

For painting the first layer, get your stencil down, then place tape under the contact marks so you dont paint on the surface.

Paint the layer.

Use the painted contact marks to line up subsequent layers.

Remove the tape at the end.

I will be making a video tutorial for the sprayschool for simple stuff like this, and a more detailed example with transparencies.
